Citybond Suretravel, one of the leading providers of Travel Insurance to the U.K. travel trade, has announced the opening of a dedicated claims unit within its insurer,
Europ Assistance to service its customer claims. This move follows a recent two-year extension of the contract between the two organisations to 2008.

In 2005, Europ Assistance handled an average of over 1,000 calls per month to its claims helpline for Citybond.

“Following two years of sustained growth in income and market share, Citybond Suretravel is delighted that Europ Assistance is investing further resources into a dedicated claims unit that will provide added value to an already superior claims service,” said Greg Lawson, Citybond’s Corporate Broking Director.
