Citybond renew
retail scheme for 2 years
12/01/2006
Citybond Suretravel,
a division of Citybond Holdings Plc, have just renewed their Retail
Scheme with Europ Assistance for a further two years. A key feature
of the 2006 Scheme is the inclusion of Medical Expenses and Personal
Accident cover for Acts of Terrorism as standard. Once again, Citybond
are aiming to meet the ever-changing needs of the modern traveller
aged between 1 and 85 years.
Citybond’s
Broking Director, Greg Lawson, confirmed
that working closely with Europ Assistance for the last two years
has reaped major benefits for both entities. “By taking the
innovative and unique step of providing a medical screening solution
via the web for agents and clients alike, as well as persistent
vigilance about the quality of our book, we have managed to further
improve the performance of our scheme for the third year running.
This bodes well for the industry and is a classic example of the
benefits of close, effective partnership with your chosen carrier.”
Says Fiona
McDonald, Head of Underwriting at Europ Assistance,
“Citybond have done a great job in building a stable book
of business and we are delighted to extend our partnership for a
further two years. They have a first-class management team and have
in-house operating and reporting systems that enable us to be innovative
in the way we assess and underwrite risks. We look forward to continuing
to reap the benefits of our close relationship”
