Regulation of Travel Insurance Sales

The Financial Services Authority (“FSA”) is responsible for regulating companies and intermediaries selling general insurance, known as non-investment business. Insurance companies and intermediaries will need to apply to the FSA for regulatory authorisation, providing information on their business and will need to comply with the FSA rulebook.

Citybond Holdings Plc (trading as Citybond Suretravel) are authorised to transact ANY travel insurance sale, whether attached to the sale of travel arrangements or not. We are, therefore, an Authorised Firm for the purpose of the FSA and our Firm Reference number is 312208. As such, we are only able to work with agents that have a Terms of Business Agreement with us.
