Customer Service Representative
As a Customer Service Representative you need to enjoy working as part of a team, be customer focused and flexible with excellent communication, listening and telephone skills.
You will be answering incoming telephone calls, carrying out medical-screening and providing accurate quotations and executing policy sales.
Jean Fowler has been with Citybond Suretravel since October 2007.
What did you do prior to joining Citybond Suretravel?
Prior to joining Citybond, I worked for Wallace Arnold Worldchoice in Croydon, selling coach holidays.
What do you like most about your job?
The thing I most enjoy doing the medical screenings and helping people.
What has been your greatest achievement at Citybond Suretravel so far?
My greatest achievement since joining Citybond is to win the Award for Outstanding Customer Service in the Citybond Annual Recognition Awards 2009.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
In my spare time I enjoy clubbing, the theatre, cinema, eating out and the internet.
How would you describe yourself?
I would describe myself as friendly, loyal and fun-loving.
Mia Stone has been with Citybond Suretravel since October 2008.
What did you do prior to joining Citybond Suretravel?
Before I joined Citybond I was studying travel and tourism levels 2 and 3 at Bromley College.
What do you like most about your job?
Working with the people here and being part of a team. Also when a customer thanks me for my help .
What has been your greatest achievement at Citybond Suretravel so far?
My greatest achievement at Citybond is being able to study level 2 NVQ in retail financial services and learning more about travel insurance.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
In my spare time I like to be with my family and socialising with my friends.
How would you describe yourself?
I would describe myself as funny, polite and outgoing.
Senior Customer Service Representative
As a Senior Customer Service Representative you need to enjoy working as part of a team, be customer focused and flexible with excellent communication, listening and telephone skills.
You will be answering incoming telephone calls, carrying out medical-screening and providing accurate quotations and executing policy sales. As a Senior Representative you will also be a buddy to new joiners and assist with induction training, provide on the spot solutions to team members in order to enhance knowledge and act as a referral point for any escalations.
Tracey Robe has been with Citybond Suretravel since May 2003.
What did you do prior to joining Citybond Suretravel?
I was very busy being a full time Mum.
What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy speaking to customers and I enjoy medical screening. It gives me great pleasure speaking to different people with different needs, being able to offer them cover, especially when they have found it difficult to find travel insurance elsewhere.
What has been your greatest achievement at Citybond Suretravel so far?
Well there are two things: One is passing an NVQ in Retail Financial Services and the other was being promoted to a Senior Customer Service Representative.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, socialising, listening to music and shopping.

Customer Service Administrator
As a Customer Service Administrator you need to be an efficient and methodical person who has excellent communication skills, good attention to detail and accurate typing skills.
You will be issuing policies and renewals that arrive in the office via fax, post or email, dispatching outgoing mail and responding to email queries and general enquires relating to our travel insurance schemes.
Sophia Michaelides has been with Citybond since October 2007.
What did you do prior to joining Citybond?
Prior to joining Citybond I was working for Tui UK Ltd where I completed a Level 2 and 3 Apprenticeship in travel and tourism.
What do you like most about your job?
Working in a friendly atmosphere with a great team of people who support each other and dealing with a variety of customers, with different needs.
What has been your greatest achievement at Citybond so far?
Being given the opportunity to move from a telephone role to an administrative role, within six months of joining the company.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy socialising with friends, shopping and spending time with my family.
How would you describe yourself?
A friendly and happy person.
Supervisor
As a Customer Services Supervisor you need to be an excellent communicator, reliable, approachable and confident with the ability to motivate and develop your team.
You will work as part of our Supervisory team to ensure the smooth and successful running of the customer services department, carry out monthly call assessments and performance reviews, identify training needs, provide guidance and support to improve overall learning and knowledge, handle personnel issues and ensure customer expectations are exceeded and sales opportunities maximised.
Stephanie Vasiliou has been with Citybond since October 2000.
What did you do prior to joining Citybond?
I worked for a construction company where I was responsible for maintaining the busy switchboard, taking messages and dealing with telephone enquiries, meeting and greeting clients, filing and data input.
What do you like most about your job?
I enjoy working with my team and supporting them with their development. I also enjoy the challenge of dealing with customer complaints and reaching a positive outcome.
What has been your greatest achievement at Citybond so far?
Progressing from a Customer Service Administrator to a Customer Services Supervisor and winning the Supervisor of the Year award at the 2005 Staff Recognition Awards. I am also currently studying the Institute of Leadership and Management, Level 3 Award in First Line Management so am looking forward to achieving that.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, socialising, listening to music and shopping.

Friendly, easy going and approachable.
Karen Wood has been with Citybond since April 2001.
What did you do prior to joining Citybond?
I was a single mum .
What do you like most about your job?
The people I work with.
What has been your greatest achievement at Citybond so far?
Starting as a part timer then going full time and progressing to team leader within the year. After a further two years progressed to supervisor.
What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?
Being with my family and walking the dog.
How would you describe yourself?
I would describe myself as a team player and very self motivated.
